Biography
Dr Dimitrios Terentes-Printzios worked and did research in hypertension and cardiovascular disease prevention
recording more than 85 full-length publications with an H-index of 22 and almost 2000 citations. He concluded his Ph.D.
thesis on vascular aging (CRAVE study), and he was granted access to analyze large multicenter studies (SPRINT trial). In
addition, he co-organized multicenter studies (PHAETHON), contributed to the reference values for central blood pressures
and performed meta-analyses that were included in the recent Guidelines. He was awarded the Paul Dudley White International Scholar award at 2018, 2019 AHA Scientific Sessions and two times Best Poster award in ESC congresses. He
became a cardiologist in 2018. He was a fellow in Interventional Cardiology in the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford and currently works as an Interventional Cardiologist in Hippokration Hopsital.
