Doctor Brian Abbott

Brian G. Abbott, MD, FACC, MASNC, FAHA is Professor of Medicine at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and Associate Chief of Clinical Excellence and Operations in the Cardiology Division. He is Past President of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (ASNC) in 2016. He specializes in Cardiovascular Imaging, authoring guidelines, lecturing at national and international meetings and publishing on a variety of topics focusing on the clinical applications of multimodality imaging in the management of patients with known and suspected cardiovascular disease. Dr. Abbott is a Master of ASNC, having served as a member of the Board of Directors Chair of both the Education and Scientific Sessions Program Planning Committee. He has also served on the American College of Cardiology (ACC) Scientific Sessions Program Planning Committee and on the ACC Cardiovascular Imaging Section Leadership Council. Dr. Abbott is currently a Program Chair for ICNC-CT 2021.
