David M. Dudzinski MD practices critical care cardiology and echocardiography at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, where he directs Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, Critical Care Cardiology Section, and Critical Care Cardiology Fellowship. He is active American College of Cardiology efforts in Critical Care Cardiology (chairing 2024 JACC Expert Panel) and chairs American Society of Echocardiography Critical Care Echo. Dr. Dudzinski has helped develop the Pulmonary Embolism Response Team (PERT) concept, researches echocardiography in PE, and co-authored PERT guidelines (diagnosis & management; interhospital transfer). Dr. Dudzinski serves as associate editor for New England Journal of Medicine series Case Records, and on editorial boards for Journal of the American Society of Echocardiography and Journal of Intensive Care Medicine. He is a 25-year volunteer for Scouting, including serving as Chief Medical Officer MassJAM 2023, and medical staff for national events.
