Member of:

European Society of Cardiology

Tian Yeong is a Vascular Research Fellow at King's College London, Guy's and St. Thomas' Hospital NHS Trust. After spending seven years working in NHS England and starting specialty training in Vascular Surgery in 2019, Tian decided to temporarily step away from full-time clinical practice and pursue her passion for research. In the hope of contributing to the future of personalised medicine, Tian's research focuses on the biological effects of radiation exposure in patients treated with X-ray guided endovascular procedures. Not only does her work highlight the radiation risks for the particular cohort but underlines the importance of risk assessment for all medical radiation practices. Growing up in Taiwan, Tian is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese and when she is not working, she enjoys a nice long walk with her dog.
