Kellie Easton is a heart failure clinical nurse specialist at the Alfred Hospital Melbourne Australia. She has many years of experience in all areas of cardiac nursing from intensive care, coronary care, cardiac catheterisation laboratory, and advanced and chronic heart failure. Kellie has led and managed various heart failure programs as well as designed the Heart Failure Model of Care for The Alfred hospital including the establishment of nurse-pharmacist outpatient clinics. As a heart failure clinical nurse consultant, Kellie provides an extensive range of coordination of inpatient and outpatient care, education, coordination of independent home inotrope services, support and assistance for patients, families and referring doctors accessing The Alfred Heart Failure & Transplant services.
