Marie-Claire is clinical nurse specialist with a keen interest in reducing time to diagnosis for those with postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) and in collaborating in research that focuses on improving outcomes for those living with POTS, Long COVID and Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. Marie-Claire commenced her PhD candidature at the University of Adelaide in January 2021, under the supervision of Professor Dennis Lau, one of Australia’s leading experts in POTS. She now works in clinical practice with Dr Lau in Adelaide, Australia where utilizes her clinical nursing skills to provide a multidisciplinary care for those with POTS. She is the CEO of the Australian POTS Foundation which works to improve outcomes for those with POTS.
