Dr Bushra Rana, Consultant Cardiologist working at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and Cleveland Clinic London. She has expertise in valvular heart disease and structural heart disease. Dr Rana has almost 20 years experience in interventional echocardiography for transcatheter procedures including mitral, aortic and tricuspid valve interventions, as well as paravualular leak, left atrial appendage and atrial septum defect/PFO closures. She is Clinical Lead for Cardiac Non-Invasive Diagnostics at ICHNT, and co-leads a number of MDT meetings (including endocarditis, mitral/tricuspid MDTs). Dr Rana is experienced in teaching, training and research with a large number of publications including book chapters. She has held a number of national and international roles including council member of the British Society of Echocardiography, Education Committee Chairperson for the BSE. She is a board member of the CSI Foundation, co-director for CSI Frankfurt and CSI LAAO amongst other roles.
