Anne Grete Semb MD, PhD is a senior researcher, a consultant cardiologist and the leader of the Preventive Cardio-Rheuma clinic, Diakonhjemmet Hospital. She was member of EULAR task force on recommendations for CVD risk management in patients with inflammatory joint diseases (2010/2016). Semb is the secretary and web-coordinator of the ESC Working Group of Cardiovascular Pharmacology and member of the EAPC section for Primary prevention and risk factor management. She is the leader of the NOrwegian Collaboration of Atherosclerosis in patients with Rheumatic diseases (the NOCAR project). She is the former leader of A TransAtlantic Cardiovascular Consortium for patients with rheumatoid arthritis (ATACC-RA)(18 centres/12 countries) and the SURF-RA (53 centres/5 world regions). PubMed-indexed publications: 140. Citations: 9116, H-index: 45, i10-index: 83. She has been the supervisor of 10 PhD students, 2 Post Docs. Leading Editor of Handbook of CVD Management in Rheumatoid Arthritis.
