From Irvine, California, Dr. Hasaan Ahmed M.D. is currently an Internal Medicine Resident (PGY-3) at Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska, United States of America. Dr. Ahmed graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, at the age of 20. He then pursued medicine at Medical University of the Americas in St. Kitts and Nevis where he graduated with honors and served as class president. Dr. Ahmed is passionate about excellence in education, patient care, and research. He is currently a co-leader of the Cardiology Research interest group at Creighton University and has published in several esteemed journals such as JACC: Cardiovascular Interventions, Arrhythmia and Electrophysiology Review, ​​​​Annals of Medicine and Surgery, JACC: Advances, and EP Europace. His research interests are centralized around clinical outcomes and socioeconomic disparities of cardiovascular medicine. Dr. Ahmed is currently in the process of applying for cardiology fellowships.
