She has been working in the Cardiology Department of Papa Giovanni Hospital,since March 2012, taking care of heart failure patients and heart transplant candidates. In 2007, she graduated in Medicine and Surgery at University of Pavia. In the same year, she obtained the IUSS (Istituto Universitario Studi Superiori) diploma in Pavia. In 2010, she was Research Fellow at the Cardiovascular Research Center of the Sarawak General Hospital in Kuching, Malaysia. In 2011, she attended as clinical fellow the Oklahoma Heart Hospital, OKC, USA. In 2012 she specialized in Cardiology with 50/50 and honors at the University of Pavia. In 2015/2016 she attended the Cardiovascular Department of the Massachussets General Hospital (Harvard University, Boston, USA) for a heart failure fellowship. In 2016 she obtained a PhD in Internal Medicine and Medical Therapy, University of a Pavia. She is contract professor at School of Medicine and Surgery, Bergamo, Milano Bicocca University.
