Professor Milosz Jaroslaw Jaguszewski

Medical University of Gdansk, Gdansk (Poland)

A graduate of the Medical University of Gdansk, Poland. Began his career at the Coronary Care Unit and Cardioangiology Catheterization Laboratories of the University Clinic Centre in Gdansk, Poland. From there, he moved to University Heart Centre of Zürich, Switzerland, where he worked as a Research & Clinical Fellow in the multicenter projects funded, i.e. by a Swiss National Science Foundation and ESC. In 2014 he moved to Charite Berlin, Germany, to build up the Berlin Invasive Research and Quantification (BIRQ) Core Laboratory for professional intracoronary imaging. He is also a recipient of the Research Grant of the ESC (Paris 2011) and the Training Interventional Fellowship of EAPCI (2013). His interests are in the pathophysiology of atherosclerosis, biomarkers, cv interventions, invasive imaging, and device failure. Publication list comprises over 250 articles including the New England Journal of Medicine (summary: IF >1000, iH 26, Scopus, WoS)
