Dr. Wendy Post is the Lou and Nancy Gramick Professor of Cardiology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine with a join appointment at the Bloomberg School of Public Health. She is the Director of Cardiology Research and a practicing cardiologist at the Ciccarone Center for the Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease (CVD). Her research interests include prediction and prevention of CVD, heart failure and sudden cardiac death, noninvasive imaging of subclinical atherosclerosis, genetics and -omics of CVD, sex and racial/ethnic disparities in heart disease, and CVD in people living with HIV. She is the principal investigator for the NHLBI-funded Hopkins field center for the Multi-Ethnic Study of Atherosclerosis (MESA) and chair of the MESA steering committee. She has led the CV substudy for the Multicenter AIDS Cohort Study (MACS). Dr. Post is an associate editor of Circulation. She has over 425 peer-reviewed research publications. Dr. Post was elected to ASCI, AUC and ACCA.
