E-mail: ales.blinc@kclj.si EDUCATION AND TRAINING 1985, graduated as Doctor of Medicine at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, 1985 - 1986, internship in medicine and service in the army, 1987 - 1991, junior researcher and resident in internal medicine, 1991 - 1993, research fellow and instructor at the Department of Medicine, University of Rochester, New York, USA. 1992, passed the ECFMG and FLEX exams in the USA. 1994, Doctor of Science Degree at the University of Ljubljana. 1995, passed the State Licensing Examination in Internal Medicine in Slovenia. Subspecialty: Vascular Medicine.
