Dr Mansimran Singh Dulay is a trainee Cardiologist (ST5 registrar) based in South England. He is currently working towards a 3-year PhD at the prestigious Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals. His thesis is focused on the prognostic impact of unintentional weight loss in advanced heart failure patients referred for transplant assessment, alongside investigating novel aspects of the inflammatory and immunological responses, and potential role of the microbiome. His other research interests include outcomes in myocardial infarction cohorts, imaging in post cardiac transplant recipients and the role of arrhythmias and implantable cardiac devices in cardiac sarcoidosis. In his spare time, he continues to enjoy running, gaming, as well as practicing linguistics (English, Punjabi and Spanish!).
