Mrs Teodora Lalova-Spinks

Teodora Lalova-Spinks is a doctoral researcher enrolled in an interdisciplinary PhD program at KU Leuven (Belgium). She conducts her research at the Centre for IT & IP Law (Faculty of Law) and at the Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapy research group (Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences). Teodora’s PhD project focuses on the legal framework for clinical trials and data protection and employs mixed methods (doctrinal legal research and empirical research). In February-March 2023, she conducted a research visit at Stanford School of Medicine, at the Meta-Research Innovation Center at Stanford (METRICS). She commenced her PhD in September 2018 as a fellow of the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC). In November 2019, Teodora was awarded a PhD scholarship by the Research Foundation - Flanders (FWO).
