Doctor Wail Nammas

Dr. Wail Nammas was born in 1972, in Damietta, Egypt. After his medical graduation in Ain Shams University in 1995, he obtained M.Sc. in Cardiology in 1999, then Ph.D. in Cardiology in 2003. He became a lecturer in Cardiology in 2004. He received professional training in invasive cardiology in the cathlab of Clinica Montevergine, Avellino, Italy (2005-2007). He was promoted to the title of Professor of Cardiology in Ain Shams University in 2014. He started working as a senior researcher in the field of cardiovascular imaging in August 2018, in the National Turku PET Centre, Turku, Finland, till now. His current main areas of interest include imaging of coronary artery disease and heart failure. He has many publications in high-rank journals. He is also a reviewer for many high-rank journals including, among others, European Hear Journal, European Hear Journal Cardiovascular Imaging, and International Journal of Cardiology.
