Professor Evgeny Mikhaylov

Assoc. prof. Evgeny Mikhaylov, MD, PhD, graduated from the Pavlov First State Medical University, Saint-Petersburg in 2004. After completion of internal medicine and cardiology fellowship, was employed at the Almazov National Medical Research Centre, Saint-Petersburg. Research interests: atrial fibrillation electrophysiological mechanisms; catheter ablation; ventricular tachycardia ablation; registry and population research on arrhythmia and heart failure; device-based heart failure treatment; neuromodulation in cardiovascular diseases management. Currently holds the following positions at the Almazov National Medical Research Centre, Saint-Petersburg: Vice-director, Institute of Heart and Vessels; Consultant electrophysiologist, cardiologist; Head, Research lab of neuromodulation.
