Joske holds a bachelor's degree in Technical Medicine from the University of Twente (UT), which trains specialists to apply knowledge at the intersection of medicine and technology, followed by a Thesis: "Heart rate variability and heart rate as a variable for early detection of insults: a pediatric case." In 2021, she completed a Master's at the Liryc, the Institute of electrophysiology and cardiac modeling in Bordeaux with a thesis: " Using a smartwatch to record precordial electrocardiograms: a validation study" (publication). In 2021, she started her second master's degree, Master Technical Medicine - track Medical Sensing & Stimulation. In 2018 she was a board member of Integrand Twente; the largest Dutch academic internship agency, responsible for office Twente, HR, and University relations. She is active in the Student Tutor Writing Centre (UT), coaching students in academic writing. In her free time, she enjoys running, scuba diving, traveling, concerts and festivals.
