Prof. Cuculi trained is a board certified cardiologist and currently head of the division of cardiology in Kantonsspital Luzern, Switzerland. He trained in Lucerne, Berne and Oxford (UK) and is Professor of Medicine in the University of Lucerne. His main speciality are coronary interventions, especially complex and heavily calcified disease. Heart Center Lucerne is the 2nd largest PCI center in Switzerland and performs currently around 2000 PCI/year including > 200 CTO PCI interventions. His main research interest are drug coated balloons, intravascular imaging and the use of hemodynamic assist devices.
