Biography
The majority of my professional work is associated with the invasive cardiology, intensive cardiac care. In the spectrum of my professional interests lies optimization of myocardial infarction care and the most severe patients with acute and chronic heart failure. Now I work as a Head of Cardiology Department at the University Hospital in Opole.
My scientific work focus on prevention of cardiovascular diseases as well as on epidemiology, long-term prognosis of acute cardiovascular diseases along with the analysis of the impact of the diagnostic and therapeutic process on epidemiological indicators. I am an expert in the field of design, implementation and analysis of clinical registries and large databases (PL-ACS, AMI-PL, SILSTROKE).
I am currently President of Polish Cardiac Society.
