He is interventional cardiologist and heart failure specialist. He got professional training at the German Heart Institute (Berlin), Heart Center Leipzig and CharitéCenter for Cardiovascular Diseases. He is the Head of the Heart Failure Unit (HFU) at Unfallkrankenhaus Berlin, Germany. His research focus is telemedicine in chronic heart failure.
