She is the echosonographer in-charge of the echo lab and the educator at the Cardiology Department of Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, Queensland, Australia. She is also qualified in general ultrasonography. She has more than 28 years of experience in echocardiography. She is heavily involved in education and training and research. She is responsible for training of student echosonograhers and advanced cardiology trainees. She acquired her Master degree in Medical Ultrasound in 2007. Currently, she is undertaking a PhD study in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Deformation imaging and use of transcranial Doppler in stroke patients are the 2 major areas of interest in both daily work and research. She has been invited speaker at several major cardiology conferences and workshops within Australia.
