Biography
Consultant in Cardiothoracic Intensive Care at Harefield Hospital at the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals, London, UK and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at King's College, London. Elected Secretary and Member of the Executive Board at the EACVI. Elected Fellow of the Higher Education Academy of the UK (FHEA), Elected Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (UK). FEACVI and FASE. Member of the Editorial Board at JACC Cardiovascular Imaging, Frontiers in Cardiovascular Imaging. Lead editor of Springer textbook ‘Cardiopulmonary Point of Care Ultrasound’ published in 2023. Editor of Elsevier's Practical Applications of Echo Doppler Haemodynamics published in 2025. Dr Soliman was awarded and nominated for several national and international awards including being awarded the EACVI Excellence in Education Award in 2021. In 2024, he was awarded a Visiting Professorship at Mayo Clinic Florida, USA. He delivered over 300 lectures, webinars and symposia in many countries around the world.
