Clinical cardiologist; Associate Professor at Grigore T Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Iasi, Romania; fellowship in electrophysiology and echocardiography in Belgium; FESC since 2015; EACVI certification in transthoracic echocardiography. I have a particular interest in cardiac rhythm disorders (especially atrial fibrillation) and cardiovascular imaging (especially echocardiography). My ongoing research work is related to the left atrial remodeling in atrial fibrillation and autonomic imbalance as pathophysiologic mechanism in atrial fibrillation.
