Demeke Mekonnen graduated with MD in 2009 and specialization in pediatrics and child health in 2013 from Jimma University, Ethiopia. He has subspecialized in pediatric cardiology from E. Wolfson medical center, Israel. He has attended different trainings on advanced pediatric and fetal echocardiography from US and Europe and presented lectures and researches at international congresses. Demeke is a compassionate physician, researcher and leader working in healthcare and academic institutions for the past 15 years. He achieved positions as consultant clinician, assistant and visiting professor, clinical researcher, advisor and hospital manager. He is an excellent communicator and resilient to achieve his goals and the missions of the organizations he joined. Currently, He is a clinical research fellow in Cardialysis, the Netherlands with a goal of achieving state of the art skills and experience in the field of cardiac imaging, data management and clinical trials. open to work!
