Valentina Bugnotti started her career by graduating cum laude with a nursing degree from the Universita di Medicina e Chirurgia di Verona in 2017. Upon relocating to the UK, Bugnotti worked on a cardiac ward for a year before transitioning to the Coronary Care unit in 2018. Bugnotti pursued a Master in Cardiology for Healthcare Professionals (Level 7) at Southampton University, completing it successfully in 2019. In 2021, Bugnotti joined the University Hospital Southampton as a Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner in Cardiology. Since 2022 she is registered as an independent prescriber. Recently she has co-lead on a Quality Improvement project to assess local level of screening for Iron Deficiency in Heart failure. Currently, she is on the verge of completing her Master's degree in Advanced Clinical Practice and working at the development of a local pathways. In her free time she enjoys long walks, travelling and reading. She speaks Italian and English.
