He's a trained cardiologist and internal medicine fellow. PhD in Maastricht with Prof. M. Allessie and Prof. U. Schotten focus on end-epicardial mapping of atrial fibrillation.
Involved in the development and testing of an medical grade AF detection App for Smartphone and Smartwatch. Leader of own research group on medical sensors and new technologies in healthcare.
