Doctor Paolo Costa

Paolo is an Italian cardiologist at Sant'Andrea Hospital in La Spezia, with a focus on heart failure and multimodality imaging. He graduated in Medicine in 2020, completed his cardiology residency and is now a PhD candidate at the University of Genoa. In 2025 he was an Honorary Fellow in the CMR Department at Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospital in London, and trained as a Fellow in interventional TOE at Ospedale Gaetano Pasquinucci in Massa. He was previously a guest researcher at the Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm. He is currently enrolled in the London Postgraduate Course in Heart Failure (2027–2028 class).
