Jin Chul Paeng is a nuclear medicine physician and researcher in South Korea. He graduated Seoul National University College of Medicine (SNUCM) to become an M.D. in 1999 and received his Ph.D. degree also in SNUCM in 2011. He underwent medical residentship in the Department of Nuclear Medicine, SNUH, and became board-certified nuclear medicine physician. His main academic interest is clinical application of various nuclear imaging, particularly, nuclear cardiac imaging. He has been a faculty in SNUH since 2008, and now an associate professor in Department of Nuclear Medicine, SNUCM, Seoul, Korea. He used to be an adjunct assistant professor, in the Department of Internal Medicine, Cardiology, in Yale University, in 2013. He has been a committee member of International Commission on Radiation Protection (ICRP) since 2020.
