Biography
Dr. Billy Joseph David is an Adult Cardiology Fellow at St. Luke’s Medical Center – Global City, Philippines. He earned his medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas and is an Associate Fellow of the Philippine Heart Association. He is also a Fellow-in-Training of the Asian Pacific Society of Cardiology for 2026. Dr. David was a Young Investigator Award Session finalist at the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Acute Cardiovascular Care (ACVC) Congress in March 2022 and remains an active member of the ESC ACVC Young Community. He participated in the ACVC Acute Cardiac Care Jeopardy at the ESC ACVC Congress in 2024 and contributed as the author of the bradyarrhythmia section in the ESC ACVC Clinical Decision-Making Toolkit 2025. In April 2026, he represented the Philippines and placed 2nd in the American College of Cardiology (ACC) Asia FIT Jeopardy. His research interests include acute heart failure, acute coronary syndrome and antiplatelet therapy.
