COVID-19 is a new disease that has become prevalent in the past few months causing disruption of cardiac services and new challenges in the management of heart failure patients. It has also recently become evident that, besides its thrombotic and vascular effect, COVID-19 virus may have a direct effect on the human myocardium causing myocarditis and myo-pericarditis
