Webinar
Needs assessment and expected educational outcome
To describe pitfalls in STEMI diagnosis and to explain how specific diagnostic measures and optimal organisation of systems of care contribute to the best clinical outcome, keeping in mind that an underlying STEMI is not always easy to diagnose. A quick prehospital recognition of underlying causes for chest pain is essential in order to offer the optimal treatment to patients in the shortest time. STEMI systems of care (networks) have been organised worldwide, contributing to a better clinical outcome for patients suffering heart attacks.
Learning objectives
After watching this webinar, participants will be able to:
perform the right diagnostic steps to differentiate causes for chest pain and to recognise underlying myocardial infarction as soon as possible; and
recognise the importance of STEMI networks in order to offer interventional therapy (primary PCI) to STEMI patients within the given time lines.
This webinar is designed for general cardiologists but also cardiologists wishing to update their scientific knowledge on acute coronary syndrome topic.
During the webinar, you will be encouraged to send your questions by chat and interact with our key opinion leaders who will provide live feedback.
