AUDIENCE

The course is developed for cardiologists aiming to create an HCM clinic, cardiologists who want to specialise in HCM, general cardiologists who want to improve their skills regarding the role of MMI in HCM in the field.

Other specialists who want to learn more about what MMI can bring for their own specialty (e.g. cardiac surgeons, electrophysiologists, geneticists...).


PROGRAMME

The HCM imaging masterclass is an advanced imaging course on hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), initiated by the EACVI. It will consist of a one and half day intensive course, only dedicated to multimodality imaging in HCM, given by experts in the field.

The course will be theoretical but also practical with case-based presentation. Questions and answers sessions will be organised onsite to ensure that the take home messages are well taken.

By attending this masterclass, participants will :

  • make a precise diagnosis of HCM at all stages
  • identify the consequences of HCM using imaging
  • learn about the role of imaging in the management and the follow up of patients during and after treatment
