After watching this webinar, participants will be able to: 

• elucidate the principles and benefits of CMR in evaluating ventricular arrhythmias;
• discuss the integration of CMR findings into personalised treatment strategies for patients with ventricular arrhythmias; and
• explore the utility of CMR in identifying individuals at high risk for sudden cardiac death in order to develop preventive measures.

To comprehensively outline the applications of CMR in ventricular arrhythmias, including for risk identification in order to implement preventive measures.

Context – In 2022, the ESC Guidelines highlighted the pivotal role of CMR in the management, diagnosis, and treatment of ventricular arrhythmias, as well as for risk stratification. For example, there are recommendations for the use of CMR to evaluate newly documented ventricular arrhythmia and sudden cardiac arrest survivors. However, the significance of such recommendations remains less recognised among CMR experts and electrophysiologists.
