Dr. Josip A. Borovac (MD, PhD, FESC, FHFA) is a Faculty member at the Department of Pathophysiology, University of Split School of Medicine, and an interventional cardiology fellow at the Cardiovascular Diseases Department, University Hospital of Split, Croatia. He represents Croatia in the HFA Young Committee, serves as a member of HFA’s Committee on Devices and is an ex-Nucleolus member of the ESC Working Group on Thrombosis Young Researchers. He published a vast amount of scientific publications in areas of his clinical interest including interventional cardiology, heart failure, ACS, and PCI. He currently serves on the Editorial boards of several academic journals such as BMC Cardiovascular Disorders, Cardiac Failure Review, Medicine, European Heart Journal Case Reports, and Cardiac Catheterization and Interventions (CCI). He is an active and contributing member in European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI) and HFA.
