Doctor Petros Fountoulakis

Dr Petros Fountoulakis, MD, MSc, is a Cardiologist in the National Health System (General Hospital "Asklepieion Voulas"). He is a PhD candidate under the supervision of the First Department of Cardiology, Hippokration General Hospital, Medical School, University of Athens. He holds an MSc in the postgraduate program "Thrombosis-Bleeding-Medicine of Transfusions" of the Medical School of the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens. Petros Fountoulakis graduated from the Medical School of the University of Ioannina in 2012. His research interests include fields of clinical and imaging cardiology and, specifically, echocardiography of valvular heart diseases and magnetic resonance imaging of congenital heart disease. His research work has been published in international and Greek journals, while part of it has been presented in scientific conferences.
