Dr Daniel Bromage is a Clinical Senior Lecturer at King’s College London and an Honorary Consultant Cardiologist at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, UK. He was awarded a PhD from University College London in 2016 for MRC-funded research into the role of stromal derived factor-1 in cardioprotection. He then undertook an NIHR Clinical Lectureship focusing on remodelling after myocardial infarction, using both laboratory and human studies, with particular emphasis on the modulation of leucocyte recruitment. This led to an MRC Clinician Scientist Fellowship on the regulation of inflammation after myocardial infarction, using cutting edge transcriptomic techniques. His interests include heart failure, cardio-immunology, and myocarditis.
