‘Benjamin Berte is currently working at Luzerner Kantonsspital in Switzerland. He became a medical doctor and electrophysiologist in Belgium and continued with the help of an advanced EHRA grant to perform a PhD on ventricular arrhythmia using both animal and clinical research at the LIRYC institute of the university of Bordeaux, where he also performed an advanced fellowship, both under the supervision of prof Pierre Jaïs. He wrote several articles and book chapters. He is particularly interested in the sustainability and efficiency of the current European health systems, AI and technical innovation. Benjamin’s long‐term aspiration is to find a combination of an academic career in electrophysiology with his current private position and dreams of having his own future medical start-up. He recently completed a MSc in Health Economics at the London School of Economics.’
