Marco Roffi is Full Professor of Cardiology and Director of the Interventional Cardiology Unit at the University Hospitals of Geneva, Switzerland. He is member of EAPCI and was elected ESC Councillor/member of the ESC Board for the term 2024-2026. Member of both the ESC congress and EuroPCR programme committees for over a decade, he was chairman of the 2019 and 2020 editions of the ESC Congress. He co-authored the ESC guidelines on peripheral artery disease (2011 and 2017), non-cardiac surgery (2014), aortic diseases (2014), STEMI (2017), DAPT (2017), diabetes (2019) and chaired the 2015 ESC NSTE-ACS guidelines. He is currently the ESC representative for India, China and the Middle East. He is co-editor of the European Heart Journal and co-authored more than 400 publications listed in Pubmed. Clinical and research fields of interest include acute coronary syndromes, antiplatelet therapy, coronary artery disease in diabetes, as well as carotid and peripheral interventions.
