Andrew Grace is Consultant Cardiologist at Royal Papworth Hospital and Research Group Head in the University of Cambridge. He has a large clinical practice and an established international reputation for research in cardiac arrhythmia. He trained in Cardiology in both Cambridge and London and completed his post-doctoral studies as a Fulbright Scholar at UCSD/Salk. He is a recognized innovator having a particular interest in ‘disruptive’ technologies designed to improve patient care that include specialized catheters, the subcutaneous defibrillator and most recently charge density mapping. He has published extensively and given many invited lectures along with first presentations of both late-breaking basic science and clinical trial data.
