Cesar Romero, MD, PhD, is a physician-scientist specializing in hypertension and cardiovascular-kidney-metabolic diseases. He leads a research program that integrates basic, clinical, and population-level studies to advance understanding and treatment in these fields. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the International Society of Hypertension and contributes to several scientific committees of the American Heart Association.
