Professor Zoltan Ungvari
Semmelweis University, Budapest (Hungary)
Dr. Ungvari has an MD and a PhD from Semmelweis University (Budapest, HU). Following his American Heart Association postdoctoral fellowship in New York Medical College he became Assistant Professor, then Associate Professor of Physiology there. In 2009 he joined the Geroscience Center at University of Oklahoma HSC to study mechanisms and consequences of vascular aging. He directs the International Training Program in Geroscience, which coordinates student and postdocoral researcher exchange between the Healthy Aging Program of the Semmelweis University and the University of Oklahoma.
