Ieva is a final-year medical student at the University of Exeter, UK. In 2023, Ieva graduated with a Master's in Health Data Science, with her project involving time-series cardiac data analysis utilising machine learning models. She has research experience in leading international collaborative studies as part of the steering committees of STARSurg and NIHR GlobalSurg studies. She is starting an academic foundation programme post in Bristol (UK) in 2024. Ieva is originally from Lithuania and has a passion for salsa dancing.
