Hui Ling (Alyson) is a final year student currently pursuing a degree in Master of Pharmacy at King's College London with a keen interest in cardiovascular diseases. This is exemplified through her thesis in the final year of her degree, titled “Evaluating initiation and real-world tolerability of dapagliflozin for the management of heart failure with reduced ejection fraction”. Alyson also works part-time as a pharmacy assistant and is also part of the Covid-19 vaccination team at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Upon graduating in July 2022, she will be undertaking her Foundation Training Year at Pfizer UK, where she will later become a fully-qualified pharmacist. She is highly motivated and passionate about making a positive impact on patients’ lives whether that be on the front line as a hospital pharmacist or in the pharmaceutical industry. Hence, she is always looking to expand her knowledge and experience in both hospitals and the pharmaceutical industry.
