Doctor Rodica Diaconu

Dr. Rodica Diaconu is a cardiologist in training at the Emergency Clinical Hospital Craiova, Romania. She graduated from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Craiova in 2016. His areas of interest include Acute and Chronic Heart Failure, Echocardiography, Genetic Epidemiology of Cardiovascular Disease. From the beginning of her residency, Dr. Rodica Diaconu gets involved in clinical research, writing papers, and publishing the results. She also participated in presentations to national and international scientific meetings. For one year, she was involved in basic research at RWTH Aachen University, improving her skills in basic research in molecular biology and cardiology. Then she continued working in her free time at the Human Genomics Laboratory of Craiova, finding her passion in molecular genetics of cardiovascular disease. She is now just starting her Ph.D. in Human Physiology at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Craiova while finishing her training in cardiology.
