Doctor Marc Righini

Marc Righini, MD, is board-certified in Internal Medicine and in Angiology. He is currently full professor at the Division of Angiology and Hemostasis, Geneva University Hospitals in Switzerland. His primary research interest is the diagnosis and management of venous thromboembolism (VTE) disease. He studied the diagnostic value of signs and symptoms for the diagnosis of VTE, worked on the simplification of diagnostic strategies for pulmonary embolism, and validated the age adjusted cut-off for patients with suspected pulmonary embolism. He is involved in both the ASH and the ESC guidelines for VTE diagnosis.
