Dr Scatteia graduated at Federico II University of Naples (Naples-Italy) summa cum laude in 2010. She was a cardiology resident at Federico II University of Naples Hospital between 2011 and 2016 . Her main fields of interest are Cardiac imaging(mainly Cardiovascular magnetic resonance, echocardiography and cardiomyopathies). She worked in both Echocardiography and Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy clinics at Federico II university of Naples for 3 years. From March 2015 to July 2016 she has been a clinical fellow in Cardiac MRI at the Bristol Heart Institute, University of Bristol, under the supervision of Dr Chiara Bucciarelli-Ducci. In 2018 she was awarded the level 3 certification in Cardiac MRI of the European Society of Cardiology. Since August 2016 she has been working as a consultant cardiologist at the Villa dei Fiori Hospital, Acerra, Naples in both Cardiovascular magnetic resonance laboratory (covering and reporting Clinical CMR scans) and in the coronary intensive Care Unit.
