Doctor Hashrul Rashid

Dr. Rashid is an interventional fellow and cardiologist at MonashHeart. During his clinical training, he was awarded the RACP Australian Trainee of the Year (2020), Victorian Junior Doctor of the Year (2013), Australian Junior Doctor of the Year Finalist (2013) and Monash Health Resident of the Year (2014). Dr. Rashid has published extensively and has received numerous research awards including ACC Young Investigator Award (2021), ANZET Early Career Research Prize (2020), CSANZ Cardiac Imaging Prize (2020), SCCT Young Investigator Award (2020) and RACP Fellow's Prize (2021). Dr. Rashid is currently completing a PhD at Monash University, on the role of CT in transcatheter aortic valve replacements. His thesis is supported by NHMRC, National Heart Foundation Australia and the RACP Kincaid-Smith Scholarship. He will be pursuing an advanced structural intervention and CT fellowship at Guy's & St. Thomas in London next year.
