Andrea Guala Andrea Guala

University Hospital Vall d'Hebron, Barcelona (Spain)

Specialities : Cross-Modality and Multi-Modality Imaging Topics , Diseases of the aorta, Hypertension

Andrea Guala completed a Ph.D. at the Politecnico of Turin, designing a multi-scale model of the heart-arterial interaction and a subject-specific setting procedure based on non-invasive measurements. Since May 2016 he works on cardiac imaging at Vall d'Hebron Hospital (Barcelona, Spain), where he mainly works on CMR in aortic diseases. His research interests cover the field of hemodynamics and large artery mechanics with a strong focus on the physical processes involved
