Dr Verdoia, who is an Early Career Interventional Cardiologist, working at the Osepdale degliInfermi, ASL Biella, Italy. She trained in “Università del Piemonte Orientale”, Novara, Italy, where she achieved MD and PhD on translational research. She also achieved a PhD in Medical Sciences at Radboud University, Nijmegen, The Netherlands (2015). She performs coronary interventions and TAVR, and obtained the EAPCI cxertification in Interventional Cardiology in 2023 her fields of expertise are atherosclerosis and thrombosis. She also has several experiences in writing and publishing, and has authored over 100 articles indexed in Medline, mostly as first author. She is past chair of the Italian Cardiologisist of Tomorrow, member of the ESC Working Group on Coronary Pathophysiology and Microcirculation and currently chair of the International Working Group of ACC Early Career group.
